AIA One Billion Run (AOBR) FAQs

GENERAL

  1. Where do I register?

  2. How much is the registration fee?
    Registration fee is set at $35 per participant regardless of age.
  3. What are the modes of payment and how do I make payment?
    Debit or Credit Card. We do not accept cash, cheque or bank transfer payments for the registration fees. Upon successful registration, please click on the link that will lead you to the payment gateway to make payment. A confirmation email shall be provided within 24 hours of successful payment.
  4. I registered but did not receive my confirmation email.
    Please allow up to 24 hours to receive your confirmation email. Please ensure to check your spam/junk folder as well. You may email AOBRUN@aia.com providing the email address used at time of registration for the team to check on your registration status.
  5. What am I entitled to as a Participant?
    You will be provided with Runner T-shirt and exclusive AIA towel. In addition to the items, you will also be provided with a digital certificate for participating in the event.
  6. What is the minimum age requirement to participate in the AIA One Billion Run?
    There is no minimum age requirement however participants under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult to accompany the child for safety purposes, failing which, AIA reserves the right to refuse entry.
  7. I have registered for the race but am unable to attend the race.
    All race entries are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  8. When is the registration deadline?
    Registrations must be completed by 18 October 2024, 11.59pm.
  9. Can I change my T-shirt size?
    Change of size may be accommodated during Race Pack Collection on a best effort basis only. Please ensure to refer to the sample sizing below

  10.  Who can I reach out to if I have queries?
     You may send your queries to Aobrun@aia.com. A response will be provided to you within 48 hours.

RACE PACK COLLECTION

  1.  When is Race Pack Collection (RPC)?
    6 November 2024 11.30am to 6.00pm
    7 November 2024 11.30am to 6.00pm
    8 November 2024 2.00pm to 6.00pm
  2.  What must I bring for collection?
    You may show us the soft copy of the confirmation email received after successful registration or print it out.
  3.  Can someone collect on my behalf?
     Yes, with an authorisation letter from you and a copy of the confirmation email. AIA shall not release the pack without the supporting documents.

THE EVENT

  1. When is the run?
    The run is on Sunday, 10 November 2024 at 6.30am.
  2. Where is the Start and Finish point?
    Jerudong Park Colonnade where the main programme shall also be held.
  3. What is the flag off and cut off time?
    Flag off shall be at 7am. The run shall be cut off at 9am where sweepers will check the route to ensure all participants have arrived safely.
  4. Is there a bag deposit?
    There shall be no bag deposit so you are advised to bring a small bag to keep your valuables with you.
  5. What do I have to bring on race day?
    All participants are required to wear the race T-shirt otherwise the venue may not allow entry to the colonnade and participation may be forfeited.
  6. Where is the nearest carpark?
    There are several areas for parking. Please refer to the map on the website.

  1. Who are the charity beneficiaries for AOBR?
    AOBR has identified Learning Ladders Society and SMARTER Brunei with the aim to bring awareness for Autism. The funds raised will help and provide support autistic individuals in the country.
  2. Can I donate without registering as a participant?
    Yes, you can. Please click here to donate via bank transfer or credit/debit card.
